- Wednesday
Izmir
Arrive in
Izmir airport. Meet and greet. Transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is
free at leisure. Overnight is in Izmir. (D)
DAY 02 - Thursday
Pergamon - Izmir
After
breakfast visit the Acropolis, the steepest
theater of the ancient world, the Temple of Trojan, the Library, the
Asclepion (the ancient healing center), and the Red Basilica which is one of
the Seven Churches of the Apocalypse. Dinner and overnight is in
Izmir. (B, L, D)
Day 03 - Friday
Ephesus - Kusadasi or Izmir
After
breakfast leave for Ephesus,
veritable cradle of early Christianity. Visit the House of Virgin Mary, the
Ancient Ephesus, the Archaeological Museum and the Temple of Artemis which
is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Overnight is in
Kusadasi or Izmir.

Day 04 - Saturday
Miletus - Didyma - Bodrum
After
breakfast depart for Miletus, one of the principal Ionian cities and home of
Thales which was twice visited by St. Paul. Visit the Temple of Apollo in
Didyma with its gigantic columns. Continue to
Bodrum. Embark to Gulet. Dinner and overnight in the gulet. (B, L, D)
Day 05 - Sunday

Day 06 - Monday

Day 07 - Tuesday

Day 08 - Wednesday
Gulet - Istanbul
In the morning disembark in Karacasogut. Transfer to Dalaman airport to fly
to Istanbul . Arrive in
Istanbul airport. Transfer to your hotel.
Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight is in
Istanbul. (B)
Day 09 - Thursday
Istanbul
Discover the Byzantine and Ottoman treasures of
Istanbul. Visit the Royal Topkapi Palace,
home of the Ottoman Sultans with its displays priceless World-class
collections of artifacts, jewelry and rare porcelain, the Blue Mosque,
unique with its six minarets and famous for its blue Iznik tiles, the Roman
Hippodrome Square, where ancient chariot races were held, and St. Sophia
Church which serves as a museum now and the Grand Covered Bazaar with its
4.000 tiny shops. Overnight is in Istanbul.

Day 10 - Friday
Istanbul
After breakfast visit the Spice Market followed by a leisurely Bosphorus
Boat Tour viewing the beauty of the European and Asian sides, and then visit
the Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer residence
of the Ottoman Sultans with its magnificent gardens. Overnight is in
Istanbul. (B, L)
Day 11 - Saturday
Istanbul - END
After breakfast transfer to Istanbul Ataturk
International airport to return home. (B)
